Alhoewel ons die vorige wedstaryd verloor het, was ons tog baie mededingend voorlangs. Het so half verwag dat die velies van Reuben Schoeman en Tshituka 'n slag sou wees, maar nie gedink dat die Bul pak so met ons sou mors nie. Help ook nie dat jy jou swak skakel agterlangs kaptein maak nie.
Ook opmerklik dat ons seisoen na seisoen stagneer soos die seisoen aanbeweeg. Daar min taktiese innovasie, en behalwe vir die insluiting van Nohamba en van der Berg as ons skakels, probeer ons met dieselfde spelers week na week 'n positiewe uitslag bewerkstellig. Wanneer selfs gemmiddelde oppossie spanne soos die Ospreys weet hoe om joe takties uit te oorle in 'n tuis wedstryd, dan flikker die gevaarligte.

Skakelpaar het ons erg in die steek gelaat. Veral Nohamba wil heeltyd hoe-risiko, lae persentasie truuks uitvoer pleks van net die basiese dinge reg doen. Dan dink hy dis 'n moerse grap as dit nie afkom nie. Ek dink die voorspelers was gatvol om te sien hoe goeie balbesit gereeld opgeneuk word. Plus, ek kan op my ouderdom langer kantlynskoppe as hy skop. Regtig.
Dit help nie jy doen twee briljante dinge in 'n game en neuk die res van die tyd op nie. Ons binnesenter het op minuut 71 die eerste keer in die wedstryd 'n bal van die losskakel af gekry (toe Hendrikse opkom). Ek neem aan die plan was om meerendeels te skop, maar alla-wragtig, mens kan mos gou sien as 'n plan nie werk nie -- of as 'n skopper sukkel. As die Leeu-afrigters nie kan sien dat 'n eksperiment nie werk nie, dan moet hulle vervang word.
