Stem …ek dink die unie se beplanning was baie swak rondom die Curriebeker … maar by gesê beserings het ook n baie groot rol gespeel

As daar nie so baie beserings was nie kon ons van die begin af n decent Curriebeker span gekies het ( wat nou al as n span kon saam speel)…. Maar ek dink die unie het vooraf besluit om 0/21 te speel, wat nie gewerk nie nou moet hulle elke week iemand anders speel

So ek dink dis een van die probleme van hierdie afrigter, hy weet nie wie sy beste XV is nie. Mens kan nie in jou 6de wedstryd na 5 verlore 7 debutante kies nie.

Wow, dit is impressive. En hy is nie 'n nobody nie, world cup winning assistant coach tussen 'n klompie ander groot trofees.

Een ding wat ek begin optel het die laaste paar jaar in SA Rugby is dat daar nie meer so baie van daardie moerse groot ego's is nie. Spelers en afrigters is bietjie meer down to earth deesdae, met obvious uitsonderings hier en daar.

By die Lions fan day in 2020 (voor lockdown) was dit so verfrissend om die spelers so tussen die ondersteuners te sien loop, met sommige van die spelers wat na mense toe gaan en sommer net met hulle begin praat oor enige snert, was 'n lekker ervaring gewees. Jannie Du Plessie en Willem Alberts het veral my asem weggeslaan daardie dag - en dit was 2 ouens wat altyd vir my gelyk het of hulle ego's het.

Hierdoe 2 unies is op verskillende planete.

Nie om te se Nkosi kan nie ontwikkel in 'n great coach nie, maar hy moes dalk nog meer kans gegee geword het by die juniors.

Kyk, om 40-10 te verloor is nooit goed nie. Tog, vir groot gedeeltes van die eerste helfde was hulle  kompeterend en het die Bulle weerhou om te score. Na die rits beserings en die eerste geel kaart, was die skrif aan die muur, alhowel hulle hard probeer het (selfs met 14 man vir 25 minute)

This was actually a mix of U21 and Varsity Cup players.

This whole season has been absolutely disgraceful, the whole argument of it being the U/21 team doesn't hold water. If this is the future of the union then the end is in sight for us.
