Die 23-jarige vaskopstut Frans van Wyk het Donderdagoggend teruggekeer na die Unie waar hy as ‘n skoolseun naam gemaak het.
Die voormalige SA Onder-vaskop sluit hom weer by die Leeus aan nadat hy pas na sy skoolloopbaan by Monument Kaap toe verhuis het. Van Wyk, wie die skaal op meer as 120 kilogram trek, het die Westelike Provinsie en die Bulls reeds in SupaRugby verteenwoordig. Hy en die jong Carlu Sadie gee aan die Leeus broodnodige diepte op vaskop. Met Johannes Jonker en Jacobie Adriaanse ook steeds beskikbaar is die Leeus se toekoms rooskleurig in die posisie. In die SA o/20 span 2015 het hy elke keer as reserwe opgekom.
Stutt wat elke keer begin het was Ox Nche en Thomas du Toit.

Ek sien hy het darem al 12 SR games gespeel. 2 Vir die Stormers en 10 vir die Bulls laasjaar.

Die Bulle se skrum laas jaar was maar aan die swak kant as ek reg onthou, hoop nie hy was in van daai swak skrums nie

He seems to have a good record. However, it doesn't matter how good your no 3 is, if he doesn't have 7 other good players with him, he will struggle.
