The kick-off dates of two Carling Currie Cup matches have been moved to combat the threat of COVID-19 infection.

The Vodacom Bulls’ home match against the Xerox Lions – scheduled for Saturday, 26 December (kick-off 19h00) has been postponed to Wednesday, 6 January 2021 (kick-off 19h00), because of infection in the Vodacom Bulls’ squad.

The Vodacom Bulls’ subsequent match against the Phakisa Pumas – scheduled for two days later on Friday 8 January (kick-off 19h00) – has been pushed back two days to Sunday 10 January (kick-off 16h00) at Mbombela Stadium.

So die effek hiervan is dat ons volgende wedstryd eers op Saterdag 2 Januarie teen die Pumas in Nelspruit is, en dan 4 dae later speel ons die Bulle op Loftus, Woensdag aand 6 Jan afskop 19:00

Hoe de moer kan hul nou skielik planne maak om games te skuif?

Nee, dis snert. Die reel is dat die game af is en dis 2 punte elk. Hierdie "kompetisie" raak net al hoe minder geloofwaardig. Dis onregverdig.

Herskedulering is natuurlik die beste opsie, maar hul wou dit nie doen vroeer in die komp. Dan moet jy mos daai standpunt volhou tot die einde.

Blykbaar moet beide spanne gewillig wees om te herskeduleer, en dis nou duidelik dat die Cheetahs en die Pumas nie wou instem vir herskeduleer teen ons nie

Dit was nog altyd n opsie, dit was net soos wat ek n paar weke terug hier op die site gesit het dat die spanne nie wou herskeduleer nie. Die Cheetajs was veral lekker grootbek dat hulle "ingedoen" was teen ons, maar toe kom dit tot die lig dat ons agteroor wou buk om seker te maak die game gaan voort, maar dit was hulle wat nie wou speel nie.

En ek moet hier krediet aan die Bulle gee, hulle is van die min spanne wat wil speel en sal instem met so iets.

Die Pumas game is nie die een wat regtig uitgestel word nie, dit vind nogsteeds plaas op dieselfde naweek. Dit is nie in gedrang agv COVID nie. Dit gaan plaasvind, maak nie saak wat nie, tensy die Bulle of Pumas weer COVID kry daardie week.
