So ook Schoeman.

Hy is baie dieselfde tipe speler as Kwagga

The nice this is that we will know the outcomes of the games before kick off, so we will know exactly what is needed on the day.

I am hoping that we end 7th or 6th, that will give us a shot at a possible semi final.

Play off games are play off games. ANYTHING can happen on the day, the normal season means nothing and if you are on the field come the play offs, you have a chance.

I still maintain, that we are/were average all year, but in with a shout. The Bulls simply cant get better and  they are in the exact same position as us. (With all their "Stars") .

The guys also like to criticize our coaches, I am certain that if Swys and co were at the sharks , stormers or Bulls, then they would have topped the conference this year.

We are in a obvious building phase , yet we are in contention of a play off spot. That is good enough for me.

If we were in this position in 2017 I would have been really disappointed, but given the cards we were dealt, a play off spot is a okay result for us.

Next year MANY SA based players are leaving , we can only build on this season. But we MUST retain SADIE and we must work on our depth at lock and scrum half.

Niela, please don't take this the wrong way, it's not aimed at you personally. But it annoys the living crap out of me when people use the phrase "we are building". Even with all the players we lost and more guys out injured, we have a fairly settled squad and a lot of experience!

Our entire starting backline consist of VERY experienced guys with 100's of caps between them. The most inexperienced player is Aphiwe (the incumbent bok wing), in his 2nd full season. Then on the bench we have exciting new talent in Green, Reynolds, Simelani etc. Combrinck can't even make the squad!

Amongst the forwards we have the best hooker in the world, Dylan Smith a very competent prop and Sadie has shown he has what it takes too. Orie is in his 2nd/3rd full season with us, and Lewies isn't inexperienced either. Among the loosies we have kwagga (albeit injured now), Schoeman (2nd full season) and Brink (very experienced. Tsihtsuka (spelling?) is new, Dayamani 2nd season I think?

My point is, we have a settled squad and a good mix of very experienced players and exciting new talent. We are NOT in a building phase. We might be next year if we lose half the team, but so far a number of players have put pen to paper to stay on, so I'm hoping we don't lose too many guys.
