With the exception of Sithole and Robbie, this is pretty much our strongest forward pack. I think Sti will buckle again this weekend, he just isn't up to this level.
I'm happy about Lombard at 10, Elton has been really flat and Lombard brought pace and impetus to the backline last week. Would prefer Green at 15, but that's not going to happen. Otherwise it's not a bad team at all.

Its starting to get ridiculous, the amount of changes every week.. how can a team possibly perform when there are minimum 7-8 changes per week?? How can you expect your combinations to grow? Player confidence in each other and the coaching staff must be at an all time low.
I think back to a specific moment during the Ireland series in 2016. We were in trouble; Elton was at flyhalf and Combrink came on as a substitute Elton threw a massive skip pass to what looked like nobody but out of nowhere Combrink ran onto it at huge pace and went on to score. I bring that up because that pass and try would never have happened if there was no understanding between each other, and that is not built by chopping and changing every week.

Commies was n paar games gegee in die SS warmup games so paar weke terug om sy vorm te herwin ook, maar lyk my hy sukkel met confidence. Ek stem 100% saam met jou oor Dyanti, hy moet ook bietjie gedrop word. Maar nou soos ek dit skryf kan mens dit seker van elke speler sê, wat net weer n aanduiding is dat die sukkel baie te doen het nie met die spelers wat almal ewe skielik swak is nie, maar met die swak afrigtingspan. Elke liewe een van hulle is op hul eie manier nog te groen en te swak vir die vlak van afrigting.

Oor Commies.. Swys doen hom 'n groot onreg aan om hom te kies en dadelik weer te drop. Ons almal weet waartoe hy in staat is, en hy het vir my regtig nie so swak gespeel dat hy summier weer gedrop moes word nie. Diyanti het ook n paar swak games gehad maar hy speel elke nwk.. Al is dit dan op senter. Gee Commies 2-3 wedstryde in 'n ry sodat hy sy selfvertroue en form kan herwin, en as hy nie doen nie DAN drop jy hom..

Eerste NZ span vir die jaar.. hoop die manne is reg om 'n paar trappies op te vat.. alles bietjie harder, bietjie beter en bietjie vinniger as enige span waarteen ons die jaar gespeel het. Nie 'n slegte 23 nie.. vraag is of ons vaste vyf hul man sal kan staan teen 'n baie sterk Chiefs vaste vyf??

Ek voel jammer vir Commies. Hy word blameer vir al die driee wat aan sy kant gedruk is, maar elke keer was daar 'n helse overlap en kon hy niks doen nie. Hoeveel kanse gaan Naude nog gegun word?
