Ons staan te veel sagte driee af.. 2 turn overs eindig in 2 driee. Groom maak weereens te stadig skoon en toets glad nie die pillar defence nie.
Daai no15 van hulle kry heeltemal te maklik gate in ons defence.

They get an overlap on that side every time then he doesn't know if he should go for the man on inside or cover man outside. Either way they'll get through. I'm more concerned about the 2 tackles jantjies missed that led to tries.. In general our defence is just not good..

Hoe kan dit net vir ons as toeskouers duidelik wees dat ons verdediging absoluut pateties is? Dis mos duidelik, komaan Leeus-afrigters! In die verlede kon ons daarmee wegkom, omdat ons altyd baie meer balbesit gehad het, maar daai dae is lankal verby. Ons hantering is te swak om dit te probeer doen, en verder kry die 1st receiver meeste van die die bal terwyl doodstil staan en geisoleerd is. Waarheen die ondersteuning heeltyd hardloop weet die vet alleen.

Dis asof die leeus vergeet het hoe om rugby te speel. Jy het die bal nodig! Geen span kan 100% probeer verdedig en dink hulle gaan wen nie. Herbst is vir my nog swakker as groom. Al die spanne domineer ons fisies. Hoe de hel het ons gekom tot hier?

Nog 'n groot probleem in die Leeus se spel tans is hoe maklik die teenstanders dit vind om oor die voordeellyn te kom, en hoe moeilik dit vir die Leeus is. En dan daarby, hoe gereeld die Leeus balbesit verloor sodra hul wel dit oor die voordeellyn maak- in die kontak en op die grond.

Goeie pick-up en step van Jantjies. Hy het duidelik in die 2de helfde uitgekom om eerder self hard en reguit te hardloop, waar hy deesdae gewoonlik net drift en lang passes gee.
