Ek sien die sunwolves gaan waarskynlik teen Vrydag hoor dat hulle uit Super Rugby geskop gaan word. Wonder hoe gaan dit hulle affekteer wanneer hulle teen ons speel. Kan hulle of aanspoor om 'n punt te wil bewys of hul aandag verdeel a.g.v. die onsekerheid wat dan voorlê.

Span word 12:30 aangekondig. Leeus kla dat hulle sedert Maandag sukkel met hulle e-mails, so dalk het hulle goed uitgestuur maar dit het by niemand uitgekom nie

Wou net nou post dat Robbie lyk my saam was. Snaakse span eintlik, maar dit kan werk. Eks bly hulle het opgelet hoe goed Mapoe gelyk het op 12, hy hardloop nog altyd goeie lyne.

Die Leeus het ‘n makropak wat ‘n lynstaanarsenaal insluit vir Saterdag se stryd in Sangapoer teen die Sunwolves gekies.

Die agttal sluit vier slotte in, met die jong reus Ruan Vermaak op agtsteman en die ‘Bokslot Stephan Lewies op seweflank.

Rhyno Herbst en Marvin Orie is die slotte en Sti Sithole die nuwe loskopstut in die beseerde Dylan Smith se plek.

Die nuwe slotaanwins Wilhelm van der Sluys is boonop op die bank vir sy eerste wedstryd in ‘n Leeutrui

Lyk my hulle wil soos verlede jaar teen die Bulls die Sunwolves met skrums en losgemale oordonder. Dit het vir die Sharks in die eerste wedstryd gewerk, so wie weet.

The Lions were not able to train for their Super Rugby clash against the Sunwolveson Saturday because of a lightning scare.

Coach Swys de Bruin named his starting line-up for the fixture on Thursday, but he confirmed from Singapore that the weather had hampered their preparations. 

"It's very humid here and we couldn't train because of a lightning scare," the coach said.

"We did all of our detail under roof cover. There is a good vibe in the camp and we are looking forward to the game."

Hoop Swys-hulle gee ekstra aandag aan balbeskerming en hantering... beide gaan seker vrek moeilik wees as die humiditeit so hoog is. Die span wat hul bal die beste beskerm en foute soveel as moontlik beperk behoort 'n voordeel te hê. Smeer silikon of iets aan die manne se hande!! Big smile
