Franco Naudé will join the Lions Rugby Company on loan from the Vodacom Bulls with immediate effect.

 

Naudé will bolster the Lions squad at centre.

 

The 22-year old has one cap in Vodacom Super Rugby (vs Sunwolves, 2017).

 

The former Hoërskool Garsfontein midfielder established himself as an age-group player and earned his Junior Springbok colours in 2016.

Wel die Leeus se strategie hierdie jaar was om nie 'n squad aan te kondig nie....en ek dink hulle was kop in een mus met die 3 ander franchises want ek dink al 4 het dieselfde gedoen. Ek het nie 'n squad aankondiging van een van die 4 SA Franchises gesien nie.

Jy is waarskynlik reg, Van der Schyff het vir my baie goed gelyk die bietjie wat ek hom die laaste 2 jaar sien speel het, ongelukkig is hy nou weer die hele jaar uit en mens sal moet sien of hy kan terug kom na 2 jaar se groot beserings. Die Naude outjie het nogal die oog gevang in die opwarmingswedstryd teen ons, hy is 'n sterk baldraer en het ons verdedigers besig gehou

Naudé word ‘n Leeu

Die Bulsenter Franco Naudé word met onmiddellike effek ‘n Leeu.

Bulsenter beskryf nie noodwendig net dat hy in Pretoria vir die Bloues gespeel het nie, maar sy krag en vaardighede.

Naudé is by uitstek ‘n binnesenter wie in 2017 vir die Bulls SuperRugby gespeel het, skaars ‘n jaar nada thy vir die Junior Bokkies uitgedraf het.

Hy het in 15 wedstryde vir die Bulle nege drieë gedruk en nou die dag weer op Loftus B teen die Leeus agter die pale gekuier.
