Tough side, but they were beaten by Zebre last year. In this comp, anyone on their day can beat anyone else. The challenge this week will be different. If our guys keep calm, and play for a full 80 minutes, we could pull it off. The 2nd half last week was hopefully a wake up call that reminded the guys that you cannot relax in a rugby match, no matter how far in the lead you are.

Did you know? • Scarlets most recent victory was 22-6 at home to Ospreys in the Rainbow Cup in May - their only victory in their last four matches at Parc y Scarlets in all competitions. • The Welshman s record against South African opponents in the Championship is won eight, lost one, with the defeat being on a trip to Bloemfontein to play Cheetahs in December 2017. • Emirates Lions beat Zebre 38-26 in Parma last weekend and have not won successive matches since beating Eastern Province and Sharks in the Kick-Off Pools last March. • The last time the Lions won successive away games outside of South Africa was in February and March 2019, beating Jaguares in Buenos Aires and Sunwolves in Singapore. • The two sides have never met before in a competitive fixture.

The Emirates Lions have named an unchanged match 23 to face Welsh side Scarlets for their second round fixture of the Vodacom United Rugby Championship (VURC) at the Parc y Scarlets stadium in Llanelli, Wales on Friday.

Ek sou nogal graag vir die skrummie van die Pumas ook 'n kans wou gee iewers. Maar dit maak sin om 'n wenspan te behou. Sangweni het 'n strafdrie afgestaan en 2 ander driee is gedruk terwyl hy in die strafskas was, dalk kon hy ook maar 'n week rus. Ons het juis voor die wedstryd gepraat oor sy swak dissipline

Sal die subs bietjie vroeer wil sien die week. Behalwe Kriel, hopelik kry ons meer as 40 minute die week.
Hul sê na laasweek se wedstryd dat hul verwag het dat die manne sal uitsak na hul baie kondisionering gedoen het, so hoekom so lank wag met jou subs? Help nie hy het so goeie attitude, maar hy staan soveel strafskoppe af nie- Sangweni sal nou moet begin leer. Hy het al genoeg games gespeel. Ek verwag ten minste 1 bonuspunt.

Ons lynstane was nogal skokkend sleg, en ook baie omkeerbesit afgestaan. Dissipline was beter maar nog steeds 'n geel kaart afgestaan
