Lombard het in 2018 laas Curriebeker vir ons gespeel, so het baie gesukkel met beserings. Ek dink ook nie hy is juis beter as Hendrikse wat nou vir ons speel nie

Weet nie hoe waar dit was nie, maar daar was gerugte twee of drie seisoene terug dat die rede dat die unie Jaco van der Walt en Shaun Reynolds laat gaan het, was om plek te maak vir Lombaard om by Jantjies oor te vat. Indien dit wel so is,  is dit 'n kwessie van slim wat sy baas vamg.

Ons hele game was om Elton gebou gewees, die ander kon net nie dieselfde lewer nie. Ek dink mens raak gatvol as iemand heeltyd 80 minute speel en jy moet erens anders diens doen. Jy gaan ook nie verbeter sonder lekker tyd in jou posisie nie en Jaco het bewys as iemand hom back doen hy sy ding.

Dit is hoekom ek nie glo dat om in juniors te invest jou senior span gaan red nie. Daar is bitter min lojaliteit oor in professionele sport, sodra iemand talent wys dan raap n span met meer geld hom op

ook nou net gesien, klink of hy oorsee gaan speel. Hy het baie driee vir die Leeus gedruk, ek dink hy hou die Super Rugby rekord, en ons aanvallende spel het hom goed gepas. In 'n span op die agtervoet soos wat ons die laaste rugk was, was hy minder indrukwekkend

James Tedder is op trial by ons. Ikeys losskakel. Hy lyk na n goeie speler.

JP Smith, die stut wat voorheen vir die Reds SR gespeel het, en die laaste jaar in Amerka was, het vir 2 jaar by ons geteken. Hy is ook die tweeling broer van Ruan Smith, wat saam met hom by die Reds was.

Dillon is baie goed, maar was meestal beseer. Hopelik kan hy nou die beseringspook afskud.

Nico Steyn, van die o/20 span is ook baie goed. Ek dink hy sal defnitief van volgende jaar af by die senior span feature.
