Simple as that.

We have an inexperienced coach that would get the job to coach Maties rugby team. We have players that have talent, but lacks cohesion.

Management is squarely to blame and needs an overall.

Altmann is a lions guy , imagine we had Rupert and Motsepe , or the American and super sport money of the sharks.

We don’t and as long as that is the case we won’t be able to compete.

Yes , we did well with “no names” from 2015 - 2018, but the world has changed since then and it’s adapt or die time

Sorry , I made a typo.

Meant to Se Ivan “wouldn’t” get the job to coach maties

And I honestly believe that he won’t get that job if the lions fired him.

Our plan was to rather take an incompetent and inexperienced coach , then surround him with X springboks as assistants and hope for the best.

That’s not a strategy.

For me it is difficult to judge Cash as a bad coach. I think he would have had a much better record if we had the resources of the bulls and the sharks. Money can make many problems dissapear.
Jake White will only taje a coaching job if the union or club has enough money for him to buy the personnel he wants.

Yes , we don’t have their money , so we need to make better plans to execute a strategy with limited resources.

We can’t use it as an excuse , for inexcusable decision making.

The coach is the single most important piece of the puzzel. And instead of investing where needed, we gamble with Cash and buy 10 wings and 20 flankers.

We won’t fix our on field issues if we don’t fix our off field issues.

I don’t blame Cash at all, he is probably trying his very best. But keeping him is literally the definition of insanity.

We are wat way to critical of refs and players , but our biggest issue is that we don’t have our house in order

L I don’t judge cash for bad performances. If I have an employee that is not performing or not ready for a role (irrespective of their potential), I need to fix the problem as I am accountable for strategy. Not doing that is not a failure on the employees part , it’s a failure on my part. Hence my agitation with lions management

Anyone that thinks things will magically turn around is simply delusional and it’s time to wake up and smell the roses.

Enough is enough .

Niela, enough was enough two years ago already. The ship is not sinking, it is already a coral reef. Probably the reason why we do not have a big "business" pumping in the money. Was surprised to see all the comments, didn't know there are still so many people willing to mess up their Saturdays...

Toegegee was ons baie goed teen Stomers gewees
