Jantjies will hopefully come on and impress.

In a way I am happy for Reynolds, but I am sure Elton will work his way back to the 10 jersey.

It will be a cracking game, their backs look super dangerous!

There is talk out of NZ that they will move SAVEA to 8 and play READ at 6. Kwagga will have a point to prove. He must secure the bok bench spot as he covers 8 and 6. Whiteley probbaly still the front runner for that , but I dont know if he will recover in time and either way I prefer a Lions loosie in the team

will tassie risk even having Warren in the squad? He might pick up an injury lacing up his togs before the game.

I am a massive WW fan. But I've been very critical of the proteas management for taking an injured Dale Steyn to the WC. And Hashim Amla who hadn't played much cricket before the WC (and couldn't score runs the last 3 years). So in the same light it would be a big risk to take WW and "hope" he'll remain injury free AND be in good form

Changes to the Lions team for this weekend: - Stephan Lewies had to withdraw due to a knee injury sustained at training on Thursday. - Reinhard Nothnagel comes into the starting line up at 4 - Hacjivah Dayimani comes on to the bench at 19

Lewies has been improving steadily, but we are very thin on quality locks.

Nothnagel will have to prove he is worth his salt this weekend. I would have been much more comfortable with Vermaak.
