There is one thing that I just can't put my finger on and that is why Rabz Maxwane isn't with the team.
I love Quan horn and I think that there should definitely be a spot for him on the team but we should have two out-and-out wingers. Every time that he plays he looks dangerous. I hope that there arent issues between him and the coaches because that would be an absolute shame as him and Edwill is so dangerous.

His problem is that he never makes a tackle. Same as Wandi. As soon as your opponents know that you don't tackle they will run at you all day

I mean if he cant tackle then there is either something wrong with the coaching or the player but both can be fixed - defence is about attitude

The cliche is always there is no substitute for pace in rugby. That he has. His defending isn't much worse than most wingers I think. Maybe he has a niggle, or his partner is giving birth? Who knows? 

In general IMO, you can't coach a player not to be scared in rugby. The first thing you must overcome as a player, even at a young age, in the fear of tackling. Like catches win matches in cricket- tackles win matches in rugby.

Daar is baie aspekte wat in ag geneem moet word by verdediginging … in vandag se rugby is dit nie net belangrik om n man te te tekkel nie maar tog belangrik om n man agter die voordeel lyn te tekkel en terug te tekkel…. Vir n klein ligte speler is dit moeilik. Verder is oordeel en besluitneming ook belangrig by verdediging, baie spelers is te veel uit posisie en verwar net hulle eie span maats as dit by verdedig kom. Die speler aan jou binne en buitekant moet vetroue hê in jou vermoë om jou man te tekkel

Yeah, Rabz can't tackle. He is one of the worst defenders I have seen in a while. From angles to the tackle itself.

When he played wing with Simelane at 13. Guys just ran at that channel over and over.
I actually like the prospect of Simelane at 15 at the bulls. He kicks better than what people give him credit for. He played at 15 against the bulls a few years ago and I thought that was his best game in a Lions jersey. He just doesn't have the physicality that you need in a 13.

Een ding wat baie opmerkbaar is van hierdie span van die Leeus is dat die ouens met baie hart vir 'n slag weer speel. Lanklaas dit van die ouens gesien.
