Post-match comments from Emirates Lions Head Coach Ivan van Rooyen

Injuries

Luckily we don't have any new injuries.

On the result against Dragons RFC

We are obviously happy with the result, especially in week 3 of the tour which is normally mentally the toughest week on tour. I'm also happy with the way the team reacted and adapted after the late venue change.

The second half performance

The second half was again a situation where we conceded both penalties as well as little territory dominance. Areas where we will keep on working for solutions and the ability to seeing the momentum back into our favour.

Round of 16 qualification

We are extremely excited to play the Round of 16 against one of the original European power houses at home.

On the final week of tour

We are looking forward to week 4 on tour. We have a full day of travel on Monday and then a short preparation week. Everyone knows how extremely tough Connacht is at home. It provides a great opportunity for us as a group to test ourselves once more.
