Kwagga out for six weeks with groin tear. Vincent Tshituka also out for few weeks due to ankle injury, and prop Dylan Smith out for at least eight weeks with broken cheekbone.

That is not good. Feel for Dylan. He was showing some good form this year, destroying some tight heads. He is also a pretty mobile prop. Our loose forward and prop depth is being really tested this year.

Dink julle ons het verneuk in die wedstryd teen die Rebels? Tshituka is af vir 'n HIA, en is vervang deur Lewies want ons het geen plaasvervangers oorgehad op die bank nie, maar dit was eintlik sy enkel soos ons nou kan sien, uit vir 6 weke. Hy het ook sy enkel vasgehou waar hy gesit het op die veld

hopefully cyle brink has recovered, but james venter looks more than capable so I imagin our loosies will be Schoeman, Venter and Dyamini with possibly Brink or herbst as cover.
The props are a bit more concerning, Dylan is probably one of the best in the country at the moment so.our scrums will take a knock.

Injury Report Dr Rob Collins, team doctor of the Emirates Lions, confirmed at a media session on Tuesday that loose forward, Kwagga Smith, will be out of action due to a groin tendon injury for around six weeks. He is joined on the sideline by Vincent Tshituka, who has concussion and an ankle injury (6 weeks). Dylan Smith walked off against the Rebels with a fractured cheek bone (8-12 weeks) and scrumhalf Dillon Smit injured his hamstring on Friday (4-6 weeks). Fullback Andries Coetzee is struggling with a light hamstring injury and will be fit next week. The good news is that Sylvian Mahuza and Jacobie Adriaanse are both back this week while Cyle Brink and Johannes Jonker both return in time for the game against the Cell C Sharks on 5 April. Warren Whiteley is set to return mid-April. |

cyle brink nog 2 weke, ek weet nie so mooi nie. Weet die unie rerig wat met hulle beseerde spelers aan gaan, dis n joke dat die ou tusen die 2de en 3rde rondte reg sou gewees het en nou weer eweskielik teen die sharks. Glad nie baie profesioneel nie.

Ok, so ons het nie verneuk nie. Vincent is af met 2 beserings. Harsingskudding, sowel as enkel. Swys het dit ook so genoem in die perskonferensie.
Dylan is n groot slag, hoewel Sithole was nie sleg toe hy opgekom het nie. Weet iemand of Danie Mienie reg is? Hy skrum ook nie sleg nie.
