@Transvaal, sal jy asb hoor wat die stories is met die kaartjies, ekt sopas weer gekyk vir Saterdag en dit is presies dieselfde as met die Reds game, mens kan omtrent net in die hoeke kaartjies koop en die res wys as not on sale?!

So even in our more lean years, they never really thrashed us, while we could have won the 2015 game if Mnisi didnt have a brainfart with the last movement of the game...

Lol, dit was an awesome jaar. Ekt toe nog in Windhoek gebly en selfs afgevlieg vir 'n game in die seisoen om seker te maak ek mis nie uit op die kans om een van die beste Leeus spanne ooit in aksie te sien nie. Ekt ook afgevlieg vir die finaal, maar ons almal weet hoe het dit ge-eindig :'(

Sou wat gee om daardie jaar oor te hê, het selfs 'n seisoen kaartjie gekoop hierdie jaar dat ek nou in JHB bly, want net om die Leeus te sien speel (wen of verloor) is nogsteeds awesome vir my.

Ek is baie bekommerd vir die game, veral omdat Alberts nie gaan speel nie. Maar met 'n paar oefensessies agter die blad - iets wat blykbaar skaars was die laaste week volgens die afrigters agv die maagvirus en die reis - staan ons dalk 'n kans. Sal ten minste ons laat weet waar ons staan vir die seisoen.

Na hierdie game word dinge ook net moeiliker vir ons want ons vertrek weer volgende week na Aus toe.

I am worried, watching our last 2 games we don't look well coached. We are struggling with basics - taking kick-offs, can't catch high balls, missing tackles, line-outs and scrums are a mess. On attack we have no direction - just one off runners from standing starts.

The last few years we always run in pods of 3 (1 pod of forwards and 1 pod in the backs) which allowed us to shift the contact and get numbers to the breakdown to keep possession. Any strike runners were coming from deep... We are we changing what worked?

I hope I am wrong, but right now I am seriously worried that Cash Van Rooyen is out of his depth.

Toe ek my seisoen kaartjies so paar weke terug gekoop het, het ek gesukkel om n besluit te maak en n paar keer ander seats gaan kies. Eventually kom ek agter dat waarookal ek voorheen gekies het, as uitverkoop wys. So maw ek dink daar mag dalk n glitch wees in die TicketPro sisteem wat seats as verkoop wys al cancel n mens die bestelling eventually. Hoop nie dit oo grootskaal gebeur nie, want dit kan dalk die rede vir so iets wees.

my dislike for Peyper has nothing to do with the Kwagga incident, he must wear that badge all on his own, he let his franchise, province, team and the fans down (and I for 1 will battle to ever forgive him).

Peyper has shown over and over again that he dislikes the lions and the 50/50 calls become 75/25 calls against us. Mark my words, he will show his true colors again this weekend.

Tighthead prop Wilco Louw will be released early from his contract with Western Province Rugby to join English club Harlequins at the end of the Vodacom Super Rugby season.

The front row powerhouse, who has 48 caps for the DHL Stormers and 57 caps for DHL Western Province, will join the Premiership outfit in July, having been granted an early release from his contract with Western Province Rugby.

DHL Stormers Head Coach John Dobson said that he is grateful that a resolution which suits all parties has been found.

"While we did not want to stand in Wilco's way, we also know that he has a huge role to play in our Vodacom Super Rugby campaign this season and we are happy that we have an agreement which allows him to focus on his rugby.

"Wilco has been a selfless servant of DHL Western Province and the DHL Stormers and we are all hoping that he will be able to end his time here on a high as we all look to make the most of the final Vodacom Super Rugby season at DHL Newlands," he said.

Louw said that while he is excited about the next chapter of his career in England, he is also determined to make his last season at DHL Newlands a memorable one.

Emirates Lions prop Dylan Smith will run out in his 50th Vodacom Super Rugby game on Saturday when host the DHL Stormers at Emirates Airline Park at 15:05.

The burly prop made his Super Rugby debut in 2016 and have scored two tries.

“This milestone represents a lot of hard work for me. I have come through a few injuries and set-backs over the years and I am just grateful to have got to 50 caps for the Lions,” Smith said ahead of this game.

Die Leeus het ook besluit om weer hierdie jaar, net soos laas jaar, nie 'n squad aan te kondig nie. Ek moet se ek hou glad nie daarvan nie, maar dis hulle reg om seker sulke besluite te neem

Die ou van Beeld het my weer vir stats gevra so ek gee dit sommer hier ook, die Leeus het al een keer 0 in 'n Super Rugby wedstryd gekry, maar dit was in 1997 teen die Crusaders in Christchurch toe ons 23-0 verloor het. Ons laagste telling op Ellispark was toe ons laas jaar 42-5 teen die Sharks verloor het...ek het al vergeet van daardie pakslae...wat 'n swart dag was dit net nie gewees nie

Stormers coach John Dobson has named his team for their Super Rugby encounter against the Lions in Johannesburg on Saturday.

Dobson made a few amendments to the team that beat the Bulls 13-0 at Newlands last weekend.

Scrumhalf Godlen Masimla, loose forward Juarno Augustus and prop Wilco Louw will all make their first starts of the season.

Masimla and Augustus come in for the injured Herschel Jantjies and Jaco Coetzee respectively, with Johan du Toit shifting to flank from the back of the scrum.

Stormers centurion Frans Malherbe is among the replacements, which include a fit-again JD Schickerling and scrumhalf Paul de Wet, who is set to make his first appearance of the season.

Dobson said that his team face a serious challenge if they are to maintain their winning start to the season.

"It is always a tough assignment to travel up to Johannesburg, but it is a challenge that the team has really embraced this week.

"We have made a solid start to the season at home, but we need to back that up with good performances away from home and that starts this weekend against the Lions," he said.

Kick-off for Saturday's clash at Ellis Park is scheduled for 15:05.

Ja ek dink hulle is seker die gunstelinge, maar as ons ons man in die skrums en lynstane kan staan, behoort ons in die wedstryd te wees. Rass op 13 is ook 'n redelike verdediger, so ek neem aan hy is daar om die lekplekke te stop

In more ways than 1. The team that beat us wore black, the sky was black and then the game was interrupted due to a thunder storm. The scoreline was the worst part of the day.
