The Vodacom Bulls are back at Loftus Versfeld after their successful Vodacom #SuperHeroSunday match against the Emirates Lions and will be putting the final preparations for Vodacom Super Rugby over the next two weeks.

Injury concerns from Vodacom #SuperHeroSunday are as follows:

• Warrick Gelant sustained a concussion and is following the Return to Play protocol. A call on his availability will be made in due course.

• Muller Uys had a clash of heads with Johnny Kotze and left the field. He is expected to make a full recovery by next week.

Other injury concerns:

• Marco van Staden sustained a concussion in a preseason warm-up match and is expected to be out of action for up to six weeks.

Returning players:

• Trevor Nyakane and Lizo Gqoboka have both recovered from their resp

Ek het dit ook nogal opgemerk. Ek wonder of dit dalk iets te doen het met wereld rugby wat wil he die manne moet laer tackle... Ek bedoel n heup of knie teen die kop is baie harder as n speler se bolyf.

Volgens hulle stats is daar meer harsingskuddings met hoog tackles as laag tackles

So het ek ook verstaan, maarek wonder of geld dit vir die tackler of die getacklde speler?

Soos ek verstaan word die tackler in 75% van die gevalle waar beserings plaasvind beseer, en die getackelde speler net 25%

So hulle se 50% van alle beserings vind plaas in die tackle, en 76% van concussions vind plaas by die tackle, en daarvan is 72% die tackler wat concussion opdoen

Maak dus meer sin om die tackler te straf as hy homself in gevaar stel :)
