* Span soos footprint: Shaun Baxter; Prince Nkabinde, Manny Rass, MJ Pelser, Tatendaise Mujawo; Austen Davids, Jack Hart; Cal Smid, Travis Gordon, Dian Schoonees, Kwagga van Niekerk, Ruan Vermaak, Keagan Glade, PJ Botha, Nathan McBeth. Reserwes: Dameon Venter, Asenatki Ntlabakanye, Nkosikhona Masuku, Junior White, Morné Brandon, Shaun Williams, Wycliff Mentoor, Muzi Manyike.

I did try look up yesterday to see if there was any family ties, but its highly likely that they are brothers.

Piet Krause se seun was baie goed.

Posted By: LeeuBrul
Date Posted: 26-Jul-2019 at 2:31pm

Leeus Onder 21 teen Cheetahs: Kennedy Mpeku; Muzi Manyike, Yanga Hlalu, Luke Rossouw, Shaun Baxter; Keagan Lailvaux, Tinus Combrink; Dian Schoonees, Sibusiso Mangweni, MJ Pelser, Adrian Alberts, Kwagga vsn Niekerk, Asenathi Ntlabakanye, Tiaan van der Merwe, Nathan McBeth.

Wie is die coach, is dit Sean Erasmus of Joey?

Either way, dit is nie goed om te hoor die span verloor so sleg nie.

Posted By: Transvaal
Date Posted: 29-Jul-2019 at 10:55am
Sean was coach vir die eerste 2 wedstryde en daarna het Joey oorgevat en is Sean by die Curriebeker span

Posted By: Leeubok
Date Posted: 29-Jul-2019 at 11:11am

A post from Facebook regarding this team: "I don't think it tells a story about the coach at all. As we support the brand and the players we should support the coaches. Has he even been in the job for a month? The real problem is two fold, if I may be so bold. Firstly the best of the current crop are on duty at the seniors. Missing the likes of Tyrone Greene and Wandisile Simelane....Secondly the injury list is basically a full team of potential first choice players. I can post the list if you want but few people really know who the players are so it may be useless. I suggest as supporters we give the coaching team time to adjust and get things settled. With so much pressure on the future of SA Rugby at the crucial junior levels the last thing we need is to lose potential future quality both in terms of players as well as coaches. If you really want to know if a coach or a coaching team is good, ask the players."

I think the objection with Joey has little to so with rugby. In fact, I think the juniors won the trophy under him (though with a far stronger and settled team). Most of our teams (especially Supersport trophy and juniors) have been doing very poorly under various coaches, so seems as if we are having problems with our structures.

Well, I judge a coach by his team's results. There will always be injuries in rugby, so to use that as an excuse is a bit lame. Especially at this level. 2/6 simply isn't good enough (albeit 1 loss was under Sean, but so was 1 win). Also, the points difference during each loss is very disconcerting..

Posted By: Leeubok
