Hierdie is 'n game wat baie vir ons gaan vertel van die Leeus. Hulle is 'n mid tafel span, glad nie soos Ulster wat definitief in die beste vier spanne in die liga is nie. ------------- Go LIONS!!!!! |

Ek was geskok toe ek die ander dag hoor Sangweni is nou eers 21 (word in November 22), so ek dink hy kan nog in 'n goeie speler ontwikkel. Hopelik wys hy ons almal 'n ding hierdie seisoen. ------------- Go LIONS!!!!! |

But 21-year-old centre Van Wyk is the one who has really caught the eye as a rising star of the game. He is so hard to contain with ball in hand, while his defensive work is exceptional. The way he tackles and then jackals in an instant is something to behold, while his try-saving intervention up in Edinburgh, where he hunted down a flying Darcy Graham, stands as one of the highlights of the season. If you look at his stats, it points to a player with a real all round game. He’s got the second best figures among all the Vodacom URC centres for clean breaks (5) and turnovers won (4), he’s beaten 10 defenders, made 147 metres and has a 97 per cent tackle success. It’s what you call an all-court game. |

Postponements: R6 fixtures Cell C Sharks v Ulster & Emirates Lions v Glasgow Warriors The Round 6 United Rugby Championship fixtures involving Glasgow Warriors, Ulster Rugby, Cell C Sharks and Emirates Lions have been postponed. Due to gastroenteritis infections it is not possible for Ulster or Glasgow Warriors to field full playing squads. In order to ensure a duty of care towards the players involved and given the medical advice received from key stakeholders, the United Rugby Championship has made the decision to postpone the fixtures. The league will now move to examine potential dates to reschedule the games and will update in due course. |
