Bart Schoeman speaks out

(Beeld)

Dit was vir my ’n geweldige skok. Ek aanvaar dit as ’n sakebesluit.

Morning Everyone,

So what has happened to the 3rd player on the list of names that was playing in the world cup ? are the Lions signing him ? do we know who this is ?

Seems our squad is pretty much settled for next year... doubt we will be buying any more players now..

Is Willem Alberts Definitely joining ?

The 3rd player was rumoured to be Frans Steyn, if it is still happening or not we will have to see.

Willem Alberts injured his arm badly in France a week or so ago, so it might have affected his chances to join us.

https://www.ultimaterugby.com/news/frans-steyn-confirms-that-he-will-return-to-bloemfontein/622369

The 32-year-old Steyn has been plying his trade abroad since 2014, currently playing for French giants Montpellier.

Steyn has now confirmed to Volksblad that he is relocating to South Africa at the end of January.

He told the paper he is returning to the Free State along with his wife and their three daughters to focus on his farming business.

‘We want to raise our children here because we want them to experience the same upbringing my wife and I had when we grew up.’

Of die Leeus R4mil sal of wil uithaal is seker die groot vraag.

I wonder how this contracting system will work. Surely SARU must distribute the subsidies equally amongst the big unions.

Otherwise , they will just end up paying to keep guys in the bulls and stormers teams from not going overseas.

As we don’t have as many big name players , surely we can get more contract assistance.

We will be at the mercy of SA rugby as far as I can tell, not ideal!!

NZ gets their central contracting right
