My opsomming van James Venter is dat hy baie goed lyk wanneer die spel los is of as impak speler in die laaste kwart van die wedstryd. Hy het baie goed Saterdag gelyk, maar dit was teen 'n Cheetah span met sewe voorspelers. Hy was teleurstellend in laas jaar se semi's en teen die fisieke spanne in die jaar se Curry beker.

Laasjaar het hy super rugby gespeel, die jaar nie rerig kans gekry nie, so hy wil speel en as die Sharks hom dit gaan bied is dit maar so. Die Leeus het gesit en slaap en ek dink ons aanwinste in sy plek is nie noodwendig goeies gewees nie.
