Well done boys, well bloody done!

Reasonable being a PC word for poor?

Can't really complain when you keep the opposition scoreless. I agree with you that the standard of reffing has been really poor this season.

One thing I have learned about Aussie commentators, is that they will always be biased towards their own side, but will acknowledge if the other side does something well. SA commentators in trying to be neutral end up being biased against SA sides in general, and the Lions in particular.

Have to agree L4E.. and Joel is probably the worst.

On another note, Not sure if it's been discussed earlier on this thread; i watched the game again last night and can't help but feel we got a bit lucky this weekend. Kwaggas try was clearly a knock-on and Harrolds try the ball was lost by Mapoe, the our first try the final pass was borderline forward. In years gone by these are the kind of call that went against us so I'm just glad the wheel has turned.

It was also interesting to me how often Franco went to Jacques for advise on decisions.

Kwagga definitely knocked on. Mapoe knocked (looked like a pass that went wrong)the ball backwards for Harold's try. Andries' pass to Tambwe went backwards. That camera angle did not help.

Jacques did captain the Currie Cup side last year, so its good to see Franco lean on other leaders in the team.

We did not have our most fluent game and there were way too many lost balls in contact.. even by Marx. The good news is that there is lots of room for improvement. The guys also found some cohesion in the second half (following the bye) so we may see a more polished performance this week end. These things aside, the commitment and intensity of the players was fantastic (for the full 80 minutes).
