Well done manne ! Well done aan Cash ook oor hy vertroue in sy spelers geplaas het, en nie na elke verloor gechop en gechange het nie. Daar is niks wat n klomp spelers in n span omskep soos kontinuiteit nie. Dit was ook destyds een van die groot redes vir Ackerman se sukses.
Miskien was Jake n bietjie haastig om in die pers te vertel hoe hy sy spelers motiveer om te speel vir n Noord Suid finaal...

Behalwe vir die rucks, dink ek dat dit ons voorspelers was wat dit vir ons deurgetrek het. Dink dat vir meeste van die wedstryd, die Bulle se skakels beter takties gewkop het, en hulle (Bulle), was meer klinies om geleendhede in punte te omskep. Agerlangs het Maxwane en Odendaal die oog gevang, maar ons sal vorentoe beter gebruik moet maak van geleendhede, en veral beter moet verdedig.

Hy het oraait gestaan die laaste paar skrums en darem die bal goed beveilig die laaste paar minute. Maar hy sal beslis nie eers 40 minute hou nie. Met alle respek- ons almal het al saam met sulke ouens gespeel wat net daar is om te staan in die skrums en om op te tel in die lynstane. Maar ek het dieselfde gevoel oor Nyakane en hy het draties verbeter. Hoop maar..

Ek dink nie ons almal besef hoe groot die wen vir ons was nie.
Ja daar is baie work ons vir ons, soos bv die first time tackling, akkuraatheid by die lynstane, hier en daar nog dom foute wat maak dat ons nie kan afrond nie, ens. 'n Paar goed wat vir my uitgestaan het: Ons pak begin regtig goed as n unit saamspeel. Hantering was baie beter. Odendaal se kapteinskap. Die hoeveelheid jong spelers wat begin hand opsteek. 3 van ons 4 stutte is nog nie eens 25 nie. Warner se spel begin oor die laaste 2 weke ook verbeter, miskien het dit te doen met ons pak se performance. Soos ek gese het, is daar nog heelwat om aan te werk, maar hierdie wen behoort baie te beteken vir ons confidence.

Baie geluk met die wen. Glo my ek het amper die dak gelig soos ek teen die einde geskree het.
Nou is die deur weer oop op n skrefie. Die Bulle sonder Duanne is net nie dieselfde span nie. Zakkie het self goed gespeel vir hulle. Sadie is n yster. Hy en Frans mag dalk vet wees maar sal geen Springbok span in die steek laat nie.
