My vrou en jongste seun het dit in Januarie gehad, maar hulle simptome was so lig jy sou nie eers se hulle is positief nie. Oudste seun en sy vrou het einde Junie ook positief getoets, en hulle is ook klaar oor dit, kom more vir ons kuier.

Okay so jy kan haar infectious period dan uitwerk as van Maandag af... 25 Jan tot so 6 Feb. Die meeste mense kry simptome so by dag 5 na besmetting maar dit kan later of vroeer begin. Sterkte daar... vroeē mediese hulp is baie belangrik as mens Covid het.

Die hele ding was sover ver verwyderd van my af, maar skielik in die kwessie van 'n week is 3 mans wat ek persoonlik geken het dood agv die virus, een was 'n verlangse familielid en vanoggend was dit 'n vorige CEO van die Leeus, naamlik Manie Booysen

Ek het my toets gister oggend gedoen, wat dan 3 dae na die begin van haar infectious period is, so dalk 'n vals negatief soos jy se. Dalk moes ek die toets eers volgende week doen, ek het net gedink ek moet die toets so gou moontlik doen sodat ek dit met antibiotika kan laat behandel as ek positief is

okay, so sy het haar toets Donderdag oggend gedoen, en was toe positief, so haar infectious period is van Dinsdag 26 Jan tot 12 dae later, wat 7 Feb is

As mens binne 7 dae na blootstelling aan die virus toets, is dit moontlik dat jou uitslag 'n vals-negatief kan wees want die virus is nog nie "detectable" nie. Jou vrou se "infectious period" waarin sy ander maklik kan aansteek het 2 dae voor haar eerste simptome begin. So werk eers die datum uit waarop haar infectious period begin het. As dit 7 dae of minder was van die begin van haar infectious period tot wanneer jy gegaan het vir die toets, kan jou uitslag moontlik 'n vals-negatief wees. Daarom moet mens steeds die 10 dae kwarantyn voltooi (na blootstelling) al toets jy negatief (veral as die toets te vroeg gedoen is). Sterkte vir julle en hoop jy bly gesond...

Sterkte daar. Hoop dat sy geen of net matige simptome sal ervaar en dat jy darem negatief bly. Uit die 7 mense wat so ver positief getoets het by my werk het net 2 enige simptome gehad en dit was ook matig.
