Orie vs n junior is n ander saak.

Dis waarom player management so belangrik is.

There was a point on Saturday when I was scared that we were heading back to the dark pre "relegation" days, especially at 15-26. Suddenly 2 tries later, all was well. Thinking back on the game, as much as I agreed with Elton taking that final penalty kick, maybe it was not the best option. A kick into touch beyond the 22m line, taking all the time permitted to get to the lineout and then hopefully winning the lineout, and resultant maul could have taken up the last few minutes. A 1 point win is much better than a 3 point loss. But all credit to the team for fighting back and making the so called best team in the SA conference sweat it out.

IMO opinion, Krappies had a good game. He is a livewire behind the scum, unpredictable, and has a good pass. Orie also had a good game. I just think that there needs to be better communication at lineout time. even the Mighty Marx still misses the odd throw. Orie stole a couple of vital lineouts, that proved immense. A

Alberts had a fantastic cameo, and most of the other players had reasonable games.

When he lined up the kick, I said to my mate. This is the wrong call, we are already ahead, we must camp down in their 22 for 3 minutes to win the game.

We put ourselves out of penalty range, but we needed a try to seal the deal , or at least we needed to play in their 22 for the last couple of minutes

Me and the guy behind me at the stadium was saying the same thing. Lineout would easily have taken another minute and it would have been a maul (if we won it) and possibly a try or a penalty - in other words it would easily have eaten up the 3 minutes. But speaking as a spectator is very easy and being in the situation and having to make the right calls all the time as a new captain/coach combo is very hard I imagine.

This is one thing that is very much in contrast to the previous regime under Swys - we are taking many more penalties to the poles, where under Swys he always wanted tries and believed even if we didnt get it we were still in a good field position and anything could happen.
