Party ouens is ook so oor die muur dat dit eintlik 'n verleentheid is, kyk maat JP Pietersen by die Sharks, hy maak nou nie eers meer die Curriebeker beginspan nie, sit op die bank vir Saterdag se wedstryd. Voorbeeld van 'n speler wat dalk 1 seisoen te lank probeer speel.

Weet enige iemand wat Kwagga Smit se toekoms planne is?Is Thambwe deur die Sharks vasgeteken? Besef dat dit nog vroeg is, maar daai lys lyk maar baie dun aan kwaliteit.

Dis moeilik om te se, hy is vir die volgende 8 weke by die wereldbeker so gaan seker nie oor kontrakte kan onderhandel nie. Dalk is dit 'n slegte teken dat dit nog nie afgehandel is voor hy Japan toe is nie, so dit is dalk van die baan.

Goeie vraag... Ek dink elkgeval vir Frans se salaris kan ons n paar ander mense kry.. Duncan speel ook goed op 12 en ons het gesien as hy die bal uitkry na Simelane toe is daar altyd n kans vir iets soos met Stean se drie.

Is Gianni Lombard not part of the contracted group? He looked promising before his injury and I believe he should be our replacement for Elton. Reynolds did well last week and can be a decent understudy. @Leeubok, I agree we have many, I would just want a good 9. That kid from the sharks looks VERY good! Might be a decent buy. Then obviously we need a 3 and also a decent lock. What happened to Makou ? He was injured , but has he left us?? Same with Vermaak, he didnt get much game time. Schoeman has done pretty well so far, Reminds me of Ferriera (when he was good), I still dont rate Orie, we need another lock to put his hand up. |

I think Lombard is contracted but he suffered a long term injury in that 1st Super Rugby game that he played this year. Unfortunately he is small and I guess he will be prone to injuries with the big hits that you get in rugby.
Makou is no longer with the Lions, he is going to play in Japan to try and earn some retirement money. I've seen enough of Ruben Schoeman to believe that he will be a starter in Super rugby for us next year. He seems to be tough as nails, doesn't lose the ball in contact and doesn't concede too many penalties.

What I have noticed since he has come back from the Boks is no more side shows at the lineouts.. Perhaps him focusing will also improve his game further.

Tnx Valie Paar belowende spelers in die span, maar die twee wat lyk of hulle die stappie na Super Rugby kan maak is Reuben Schoeman en Pienaar. Jammer dat ons nie die jaar kon eksperimenteer om diepte op vaskop en no 9 op te bou. Het in die begin van die seisoen geklink of hulle verlede jaar se junior skrumskakel Krappie van der Berg speelkans sou gee op 9. Herinner my baie aan Fav. Mathews het teen Griekwas belofte gewys op 12, net nie seker hoe hy teen internasionale spanne gaan vaar nie.
