With Warren being as injury prone as he is, at what point do we start worrying about a leader and #8 for the long term? Is Dyamani the man at #8? Who else do we have? Who will lead the Lions, Malcom? Elton? Ross?

Also, what is going on with Warren? Is it a conditioning thing or something with his makeup? I'm starting to get flash backs of Andre Pretorius.

Personally I dont think Dyamani is our answer at 8... He must seriously considder moving to the wing... If he is only interested in scoring tries and not doing the work of an 8, why does he want to play 8 and not 11?
As for who must lead the lions, I would go for Marx. He is young, definitely going to be first choice for a very long time and I think he will still stay in SA for tthe forseeable future, I am just not sure about his leadership qualities? I think Elton would make a good Captain as well, however, I dont think he will be with us for much longer.

I Agree. Marx was however sometimes captain when he was U19 and U21, so I'm not too worried about his leadership qualities. He will also have other leaders in the team who can assist him.

Regarding Warren, my opinon is the spate of injuries is the result of him not having done a proper pre season conditioning program for the last 5 years, as he was playing in Japan when the other guys did their pre seasons.
That is unfortunately one of the down sides of players playing abroad during the off season.
The positive is the fact that the extra income helped the union to hold on to the players for longer.

I also think Dayimane on 8 is not wrong, although he is still a work in progress.
If he improves his workrate and beef up a little, he can become very good.
