Prolific hooker Jaco Visagie has traded Pretoria for Johannesburg and will hopefully not have wait too long to put the Emirates Lions number 2 jersey on his back. The 28-year-old water sports enthusiast grew up in Clanwilliam where he attended Augsburg Agricultural Gymnasium. His youth career started with the Boland Cavaliers before moving to the Bulls in 2011. In 2018 he made the move to Gloucester where had seven appearances. More recently he was the medical joker at French Top 14 title-holders Toulouse on a short-term before returning to the Bulls. Visagie loves any water sports and has been nicknamed ‘Kreef’ as a result. #LionsPride

Ek dink nou weer nie Orie is heeltemal so sleg nie. Hy is besig op die veld, sy lynstaan werk is goed en werk hard. Sy hande laat hom soms in die steek, maar dit is iets waaraan gewerk kan word.

Dylan SMith, Sti Sithol, Nathan Mcbeth, good loose heads.... then hookers, Pieter Jansen, Jan Henning, Izak Visagie... just worried about the quality of hooker here. Visagie should be OK! Locks... the cupboard is very empty... Marvin, Herbst ? Schoeman (HE is actually very good!) and who else ?
Not complaining about the signings! am glad the guys want to join :) im just really worried about locks and hookers... hopefully we have some talent coming through....
