Stem oor die aanslane. Marx, Kwagga, Marnus, Orie, Commies, Skosan en Hacjivah was sondebokke.
Herbst is nog baie jonk en was veronderstel om vir eers onder Ferreira en Makou te speel, so hy is effens aan die diepkant ingegooi. Ek dink wel hy het genoeg potensiaal om ver te kom. Ek hou van Ruan Vermaak ook. Hy het op Superhero Sunday en teen die Jags glad nie ontuis op die vlak gelyk nie.

Ek is jammer om dit te sê, maar hy sou seker net 1 game gespeel het dan 3 games uit met 'n niggle, speel 1 game, 3 games uit met 'n niggle.

Andries Ferreira will not renew his contract with the Lions in order to join the Hurricanes for the remainder of the Vodacom Super Rugby season.

Ferreira has been one of the Lions’ star performers in recent years and took part in their 2019 pre-season preparations. His contract ended last season and negotiations had stalled because of his injury struggles.

The 28-year-old was set to come to a new agreement with the Lions but, according to Rapport, he decided to turn down their offer after finding out that both the Hurricanes and Highlanders were keen to acquire his services.

SARugbymag.co.za understands that the Canes have landed his signature because of coach John Plumtree’s inside knowledge of South African players.

This comes as a big blow for the Lions, especially after they lost Franco Mostert to Gloucester and Lourens Erasmus to injury for the rest of the season.

Het enige iemand biedtjie info op Andries Ferreira, ons het hom vanjaar amper glad nie op die veld gesien nie behalwe miskien langs die veld met n voetstut aan.  Is hy nog lus vir rugby, is hy nog gekontrakteur, wat is die aard van sy besering, hoe lank voor hy gereed is…. ons gaan hom volgende jaar nodig he.
