Wouldn't mind if we could sign someone like Joseph Dweba. I think he has a lot of potential.

Wens net ons sal n goeie hakker iewers teken. Dink ons het redelik goeie gehalte diepte in meeste posisies nou, behalwe hakker en moontlik heelagter.

The Lions Rugby Company have secured the services of New Nation Puma players Pieter Jansen van Vuren (lock), Morgan Naude (prop), Matt More (centre) and Ginter Smuts (scrumhalf).

Originally on loan to the Emirates Lions for their 2021 Vodacom United Rugby Championship campaign, this new deal, in agreement with the New Nation Pumas, will see the quartet call Emirates Airline Park their home for the next two years.

Head of Contracts and Operations at Lions Rugby Company, Tracy van Ginkel said: "We are delighted to welcome Pieter, Morgan, Matt and Ginter to the Lions family on a full-time basis. We’ve been impressed with their contribution on and off the field over the past three months they’ve been with us, so we are extremely pleased to have secured their services."

Van Ginkel went on to thank the New Nation Pumas for the fruitful negotiations resulting in the new arrangement.

The Emirates Lions resume their Vodacom United Rugby Championship campaign against The Cell C Sharks at Emirates Airline Park on 22 January 2022.
