Elrigh Louw of Isuzu Southern Kings will face a Disciplinary Committee on Friday, February 7 to consider the citing complaint made against him on Saturday, February 1 in Toyota Stadium, Bloemfontein.

The incident occurred in the 66th minute of the Guinness PRO14 Round 9 fixture. The citing commissioner deemed the player to have committed an act of foul play against an opponent Daniel Maartens (no 20) of Toyota Cheetahs.

The player has been cited for law 9.13 a player must not tackle an opponent early, late or dangerously. Dangerous tackling includes, but is not limited to, tackling or attempting to tackle an opponent above the line of the shoulders even if the tackle starts below the line of the shoulders.
