Ek sien Gianni Lombaard word nou ook gemerk as een van die spelers wat die Bokke vir die toer wedstryde gaan kies.... So ek weet nie, dit is baie moeilik om tussen die twee te kies.

Na Vrydag se game het Ivan gepraat van hulle wou baie graag Gianni nou game kans gee om kombinasies te vorm met Nohamba, maar ook met Krappies. Dit is dan hoekom hulle Nohamba redelik vroeg in die games se 2de helfte af bring, maar Lombaard dan oplos dat hy kan jol met Krappies vir 'n ruk. Dit nadat Hendrikse laas jaar reeds baie speelkans gekry het met albei skrummies. So ek stem nogals met hul logika en ons wen tans, so kan nie te veel kla nie. En dit is goed om te weet hulle het 'n plan. Mens kan seker maar fout vind met enige plan, ek is net bly daar is ene.

About two weeks ago when Lombard was back I wanted to comment and say that the Lions need to manage him and Hendrikse very carefully. Many pundits were talking of Hendrikse as a future bok 10 option with all the injuries the boks had, but now he's not getting any game time for the Lions. It reminds me of the Jantjies-Boshoff-vd Walt days where only Jantjies got decent game time.

Gedink ons was baie goed en het gespeel soos `n span met meer ondervinding as wat ons het. Ons het kop gehou met druk aan die einde.... Was goed ook om Skinstad (op kommentaar) bietjie stil te maak... Hy was op tye bietjie krities.... veral hoe ons jong ouens se entusiasme sal leeg loop en onderviding teen ons sal tel....

As jy ons vergelyk met bulle.... Chalk and cheese.... Baie opgewonder oor ons potensiaal vir die seisoen

Dinge lyk goed, maar daar is nog baie moeiliker games in die nabye toekoms. Ulster is volgende, eish! Dan Glasgow, wat nie te moeilik behoort te wees en dan die Stormers.
